Synopsis
The book is a fairy tale about Ma, Pa, and a lamb. Ma (who should become the First Mother, but there is no nice place to put a child) weaves a massive carpet on a loom borrowed from the future, and simultaneously creates the world. She finishes it, and then Pa gives every country a name, because politics is still more of a man thing. Motifs from old Estonian rugs are used in Vive Toll’s decorative-styled pictures.Translations
