Database ELLSA was created by the Estonian Children’s Literature Centre in cooperation with the Estonian Publishers’ Association. The database introduces Estonian children’s writers and illustrators, contains information about the authors, their books and translations. Featured authors have received recognition and been awarded for their books. We also consider the quality of their work. The English part of the database primarily supports the sale of translation rights to foreign publishers. ELLSA is regularly updated and new authors and introductions of their work is added.
