Synopsis

This book is about an artist, a book artist. A book artist is called an illustrator and the art that is inside a book is called an illustration. Like any artist, an illustrator also comes up with different ideas, she scribbles, draws, paints, brushes, glues, models, builds, combines and photographs - using the technique that seems to suit the book best.
Therefore this book is also about art that is born out of experiments with techniques. It lets one peek into the mind of an illustrator and evaluate how great illustrations are made.
