Synopsis

Summer holidays have finally begun for twins June and August. With lessons behind them, they should be free to relax and enjoy the long, carefree days. But the scorching heat and fierce thunderstorms make it impossible to sleep at night or do anything energetic during the day.

Experiencing the changing climate for themselves sets them thinking about the wider problems facing the planet. Melting glaciers are leaving polar bears without a home. Rising sea levels could one day reduce Estonia to little more than an island. Determined to make a difference, the twins decide to shrink their own carbon footprint.

It sounds simple enough on paper—but putting good intentions into practice is another matter entirely. After all, how would you persuade your neighbour to swap their shiny red Mercedes for a cargo bike?
