Kitten and the Flood

Synopsis
Kitten lives in a big forest. She has a nice little cottage with two windows in the crown of a tree. One window looks out towards the sunrise, the other in the direction of the sunset. One morning while watching the sun come up, Kitten sees Boar who calls for her to come with him and the other animals. “There’s a big flood on the way!” Boar warns. “We’re going high into the mountains.” Kitten reckons her house is high enough and decides to stay home. But when it starts to rain, the water level keeps rising higher and higher. Before long, Kitten has no way to escape. What will become of her?Reading Sample
