Synopsis
Minna sees a scarecrow in the garden and it startles her. She wants to run away but the scarecrow talks her over. "I just look the way I do so I would scare birds away from the cherries!" it explains. Minna understands and is not afraid anymore. In fact, her and the scarecrow end up making friends and play together all days long. Once the cherries are ripe, there is enough for Minna and her parents. Sometimes it's worth to take a closer look and not to judge the book by its covers.
