Synopsis
Paul’s family is out for dinner, but there are no screens and no chance of sneaking a phone into the fun. Paul is bored. Very bored. Then he spots something: a stick.
It’s rough, sturdy and just the right size — a proper, excellent, perfectly stick-shaped stick. Now there’s a thought...
The stick becomes a drawing tool, a crocodile, a wizard’s staff and, in the end, a hockey stick. The other children, who have been busy looking at their screens, suddenly lose interest in them and join in. First Saara, then Oliver and Mai. Soon the restaurant garden is buzzing with games, adventures and wild inventions. Even a few grown-ups get swept up in the fun — with slightly noisy consequences!
Sometimes all you need is a bit of boredom, a dash of imagination — and boom! The world’s your oyster!
