The Wandering Cat is a book for the littlest of readers, in which the pictures carry just an important role as the text. What happens when a wandering mommy-cat finds out she will give birth to little kittens very soon? As one can expect, she must find a little spot for the kittens – a spot where they can stay safely while the mother goes looking for food. And so, the wandering mommy-cat finds an empty stork's nest atop a post. It is the best place for bringing four little kids into the world. The kittens quickly turn into good little helpers, and when a big rainstorm comes, they must all hit the road again together. A simple story, yet one that is thought-provoking. Featured in the pictures are larger and smaller birds, as well as homes of every suit: just the kinds that are suitable for someone.
