Synopsis

It is the morning of Stella’s 14th birthday and the girl is impatiently waiting for her mother to wake her up. Time goes on, but no one shows up. When Stella finally gets up, she finds a cup of cold coffee on the kitchen table, as if her mother had stepped outside for a moment. Even a year later, the mother has not returned. Now great-aunt Asta lives in their home, and has become the girl’s official guardian. Until now, Stella has managed to cope with daily chores and the pain of losing her mother, but this apparent balance is thrown into turmoil at a classmate’s party, where a psychic has been invited to entertain everyone. Who is it that the seer perceives the hidden feelings of anger and hostility? Whose secret relationship does he warn against coming to light? And who is this evil and lost soul that approaches through the darkness? A chain of following events take Stella and her friends straight from the school desk to the secret cells of criminals, to a dingy country house and beyond. To move on with her life, Stella needs to find out why she doesn’t know anything about her father and what happened to her mother.
