When Father Gave Books

Synopsis
In the "good old times" kids were very busy. Were it mending the clothes or looking after the animals while their parents were at work on the fields or were it teaching the calf some manners, building a radio or learn to play an instrument. Only perhaps when dad came back from the big city with some books and started to read them out loud after dinner, the kids were allowed to be idle and just listen.Reading Sample
