Marta Perlikiewicz (1976) has an MA degree in German Philology from the Pedagogical Institute in Rzeszow. She has worked as a German teacher in a primary school as well as language school. She lives in Tartu with her family.

Why do I like translating? It`s an exciting occupation. The translator enters into a magic world of books in a foreign language and tries to recreate it in their native language. For decoding the secret content of the book so that everything is understandable and natural sounding, a lot of finesse is needed.
